I feel like I’ve seen every "popular" video on the internet at least three times by now. The algorithms on the big sites are so aggressive that they keep feeding you the same stuff over and over again based on what you clicked once three years ago. I’ve been trying to "reset" my browsing habits by visiting sites I’ve never heard of before just to see what else is out there. I stumbled upon
today and it was a total game-changer for my boredom. They have categories and styles that I haven't seen on the front pages of the "tube" giants in a long time. It felt like I was actually discovering new content again instead of just re-watching the same old hits. How do you guys break out of your "content bubbles" when things start feeling stale?

I’m the same way with music. If I let my streaming app choose for me, I’ll be listening to the same twenty songs for the rest of my life. I’ve had to start manually searching for international radio stations just to hear something that isn't on the charts. It’s a bit of work, but it makes the listening experience so much better. I’m currently obsessed with a folk station from a country I’ve never even visited. It’s a great way to spend an afternoon while I’m working on my craft projects. I think the internet is a great tool for discovery, but you really have to fight the "suggested for you" sections to find anything truly unique. Enjoy the new finds!
