Introduction

Plot Summary

The movie begins with Ricky Bahl conning Dimple Chaddha in Delhi by posing as Sunny Singh, a fitness trainer who claims to have a lucrative business opportunity in Dubai. He convinces her to give him Rs. 90 lakhs from her father's account as an investment and then disappears with the money. Next, he cons Raina Parulekar in Mumbai by posing as Deven Shah, an art dealer who sells her a fake painting of MF Husain for Rs. 1 crore. He then flees with the money before she realizes that the painting is fake. Finally, he cons Saira Rashid in Lucknow by posing as Iqbal Khan, a textile businessman who marries her and takes Rs. 80 lakhs from her as dowry.

Meanwhile, Ishika Desai is working as a salesgirl at a mall in Goa where she meets Vikram Thapar, who claims to be a wealthy hotelier from Delhi. He offers her a job as his personal assistant and invites her to his hotel room. However, she soon finds out that he is actually Ricky Bahl in disguise and that he was planning to con her too. She manages to escape from him with his wallet and phone.

The three women who were conned by Ricky Bahl come to know about each other through an article in a magazine that exposes his scams. They make Ishika pretend to be an heiress named Ishita Devi who wants to invest in his hotel project.

Ishika manages to win Ricky's trust and affection by playing along with his lies and schemes. She also starts developing genuine feelings for him despite knowing his true identity. However, she keeps her mission secret from him and tries to find out where he has hidden the money that he stole from the other women.

On the day of their engagement party, Ishika reveals her true identity to Ricky and confronts him about his crimes. She also introduces him to Dimple, Raina, and Saira who demand their money back from him. Ricky admits that he has cheated them but claims that he has fallen in love with Ishika for real. He also says that he has spent all the money that he stole on his lavish lifestyle.

Ishika feels betrayed by Ricky's lies but also conflicted by her feelings for him. She decides to give him one last chance to prove his love for her by asking him to return whatever money he has left with him within 10 minutes or else she will call the police on him.

Ricky agrees to do so but instead of giving her the money, he gives her his passport which has his real name on it: Rajveer Khanna. He tells her that he loves her more than anything else in the world and that he is ready to give up everything for her.

Ishika is touched by his gesture but still angry with him for hurting so many people with his cons. She tells him that she cannot forgive him or trust him again unless he changes his ways.
